Funding My Account

1. What deposit methods can I use?

Betmatch accepts deposits via Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay. The minimum deposit amount is R100.  

2. What withdrawal methods are available?

Betmatch processes withdrawals via EFT directly into your registered bank account. The minimum withdrawal amount is R500

3. How can I withdraw my money?

Betmatch account holders must verify their accounts before withdrawals can be authorized. For more information see FAQs ‘Account Verification’.

4. Can I withdraw to a different payment method than the one I deposited with?

Betmatch operates a strict closed loop policy for withdrawals. This means that

funds must be returned to the original payment method used to deposit. For

example, if you deposited R500 via EFT from your FNB account, your withdrawal

must be processed back to that same FNB account.

5. Can I withdraw to a bank account or payment method I haven’t deposited with before?

To withdraw to a new payment method, you will first need to make a small deposit using that method to register it on your account. Betmatch reserves the right to review and query any withdrawal request made to a payment method that has not previously been used to deposit on the platform

6. If I’ve deposited using more than one method, do I have to withdraw back to all of them?

Wherever possible, withdrawals are processed back to the original deposit method(s). Within each method, withdrawals are applied to your oldest deposit first and your most recent deposit last.

7. How do I request a payout?

Payouts are made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) into the bank account registered in the name of the Betmatch account holder. Please note, the minimum withdrawal amount is R500 and payouts may be subject to fees.

To process your payout, we require the following:

  • Name of your bank
  • Your bank account number
  • Branch code (or universal branch code)
  • Account type (cheque, savings, or transmission)
  • Your address as registered with your bank

You will receive an email confirmation once your withdrawal has been processed.

Before requesting your payout, please ensure your personal details are up to date in the Account/Settings section. Only one EFT withdrawal may be processed per day, per client. EFT withdrawals are processed within 24 hours, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. It typically takes 1–3 business days for the funds to reflect in your account.

Customers who use EFT as their primary funding method for both deposits and withdrawals may be eligible for a refund of withdrawal fees. Please contact Betmatch customer service for more details

8. My existing card has expired/has been replaced with a new card, how can I withdraw my money back to it?

9. Can I deposit using someone else’s account?

No, you can only deposit to your account using payment methods in your own name.
